The Geocoton Foundation’s Chairman, Abbas Jaber, was utterly convinced by the need to act with African populations to promote the continent’s economic independence.
It is supported by the Advens Group, a fully integrated agro-industrial operator specialized in cotton, trading and logistics.
Present in the African continent as an agro-industrial operator for over 60 years, Geocoton is specialized in the integrated cotton sector, a tool for fighting poverty and for improving the living conditions of rural populations.
It operates mainly in West and Central Africa.
In order to multiply the actions aimed at improving the quality of life of local populations and to give them more scale, it seemed obvious to create the Geocoton Foundation.
